For Immediate Release: Float Sixty Corporation announces second chicago location in the south loop at state and roosevelt.

After a year and four months working through challenges at a site at 1130 S Michigan, Float Sixty Corporation has come to an agreement with IRC Retail out of Oak Brook to occupy a 2400 square foot space just two blocks west on 1143 S State Street at Roosevelt Road. They join other health and wellness brands in the Shops@State including Formula Fitness Clubs, Impact Physical Therapy and the Chicago Recovery Room.

The new Float Sixty South Loop location will have five float suites - one traditional tank style, one float pod and three cabin styles tanks. The modern wellness concept will also have a separate meditation and meeting room to accommodate their “floatworking” Program for business executives and creative teams. The program is designed to enable strategic thinking by focusing on a “float point” or business problem to solve for while individuals float for sixty to ninety minutes. A facilitator kicks off the meeting and captures the ideas and discussion when the group comes together. The program was piloted with several companies in their original Float Sixty River North location but needed to rollout when more space was available in their second Chicago studio.

Float Sixty South Loop will also offer Virtual Reality Sessions where members and guests meditate on a beach or in a forest with a guided instructor. Other popular titles that compliment floating include creative art applications and focus games.

The construction of this third location is expected to take 4-6 months and will follow the opening of Float Sixty Northwest Indiana targeted for mid February of 2018. Float Sixty River North has facilitated over 18,000 float sessions since launching the wellness concept in February of 2016.
